Starting from March 31 2025, Amazon will remove the support to the old synchronization system for listings. This change requires merchants to update their AmazonSync module for Prestashop in order to keep the data exchange with Amazon working. Version 2.5.0 adds full support to this new mode.
With the new synchronization protocol, Amazon sets stricter limits to the quantity of data that can be sent in a single syncrhonization. You will be able to update at maximum 10000 listings at a time, with a minimum time distance of 5 minutes between each other.
The new sync mode introduces new fields that will be available to enrich your listings. In the next releases Prestalia will add new elements that will give you more flexibility in terms of customizing your offers.
GPSR support
With this new version you will be able to fill in the e-mail address (or website’s link) for the responsible person of the different products in your catalog.
Using a dedicared interface it is possible to fill in manually or massively the GPSR related information, so to comply with these rules and increase the chance of your listings to be successfully available on Seller Central.
Ireland country support
A new destination country was added to the list of the already supported by the module European countries: Ireland. With this update you will then be able to import orders from and update information to this new country, recently added on Amazon.
CRON link changes
In order to meet the most recent security requirements introduced by Prestashop, the AmazonSync module was heavily modified in its structure. This update requires you to update the links previously used for the automated procedures (CRON) as they are no longer valid and they need to be replaced by the new ones.
How to update the module
In order to have access to the most recent module’s version it is enough to have a valid ZEN option. Should you not have it, you can renew it at this link.
Once the purchase is complete, open a ticket on our support area: you will receive the updated file.
Upload it in your backoffice, in the Modules section. Once the upload will end, open again that page and make sure version 2.5.0 is listed. Should an Upgrade message appeare next to the module’s name, click on it to perform the required operations.
