AmazonSync, now compatible with PrestaShop 9 and with manufacturer GPSR support

The update to version 2.5.6 of the AmazonSync module for PrestaShop is now available for download.
The most important new features include full support for PrestaShop 9 and an expanded GPSR section.

Support to PrestaShop 9

With the release of PrestaShop 9, several adjustments to the AmazonSync module were necessary to ensure full compatibility with the latest e-commerce update.
Prestalia has implemented the required changes to allow proper use of the module even for those who have already installed PS 9.
Simply upload the new version in your back office to start using it right away.
The module is now compatible with PrestaShop versions from 1.7.1 up to release 9.

Manufacturer’s email and country of origin

The two main new features in version 2.5.6 of the AmazonSync module are designed to meet Amazon’s GPSR compliance requirements.
Similar to the previous version, it is now possible to assign a reference email or URL to the manufacturer, which will then be sent to Amazon.
Make sure this data already exists on the marketplace before entering it.
Another newly available field is the country of origin: using the dedicated selector, you can specify this information for your products, helping to resolve cases of inactive listings due to missing data.

Modified data queue

As mentioned in the previous release of the AmazonSync module for PrestaShop, Amazon has recently limited the number of synchronizations allowed within a certain time frame.
Therefore, it is recommended to send only modified data using the dedicated module option.
The 2.5.6 update introduces the ability to detect changes made to manufacturers, categories, and suppliers, automatically adding the related products to the next synchronization queue without requiring a full feed upload.
For example, if a manufacturer’s markup changes from 5% to 10%, the affected products will be queued and included in the next Offer Sync, even if they haven’t been modified within the last N hours.

How to update the module

Download the .zip file received via ticket and install it from the Prestashop modules panel. All existing configurations will be preserved.
